Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
PIOM OPTIMIST TRADE SRL ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you visit our website and use our services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, place an order, or request a quotation. This includes:
- Name, email address, phone number, and company details.
- Shipping and billing addresses.
- Payment information (processed securely through tokenized gateways).
- Details of products you inquire about or purchase.
3. How We Use Information
We use the collected information to:
- Process your orders and provide order confirmations.
- Generate and send commercial quotations for machinery.
- Communicate with you about your account or transactions.
- Improve our industrial equipment catalog and services.
- Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraudulent transactions.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption and secure session handling. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers; all payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment providers.
5. QuickBooks Online Integration
When an authorized PIOM administrator connects QuickBooks Online, we use Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization process and request access only after the administrator gives consent. The integration may transmit business contact details, customer names and email addresses, order and invoice information, product names, SKUs, quantities, prices, shipping charges, discounts, taxes, payment references, and related accounting records to Intuit for bookkeeping, reconciliation, item mapping, inventory administration, and tax preparation.
QuickBooks OAuth access and refresh tokens and the Intuit client secret are encrypted at rest. We do not expose these credentials to customers or sell QuickBooks data. QuickBooks information is used only to provide the administrator-requested accounting integration and to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and audit that integration.
An authorized administrator may disconnect QuickBooks from the PIOM administration dashboard. Disconnection stops future synchronization and removes active OAuth tokens from PIOM. Accounting entries previously created in QuickBooks and PIOM transaction records may be retained as required for bookkeeping, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and legitimate business records. The administrator may also revoke PIOM access from the Intuit account.
QuickBooks is a third-party service operated by Intuit. Intuit's own privacy policy and terms govern Intuit's processing of information after it is transmitted to QuickBooks.
6. Data Retention and Your Choices
We retain personal and transaction information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain accounting and commercial records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Subject to applicable law, you may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Some financial and transaction records cannot be deleted while legally required retention periods apply.
